Who are Berryrange Ltd?
Berryrange Ltd was formed in 1990 primarily providing labour and building engineering services to main contractors. Gradual expansion led to more general sub-contracting and then into main contracting for both building and civil engineering projects.
In 1999, after successfully supplying piling operatives and engineers to subcontract piling contractors, we felt it was the right time to take these men onto our books thus enabling us to offer a complete design and installation packages, for sheet piling.
We feel that we have the right equipment and experience to service your exact needs. No job is considered too large, but equally importantly, no job is considered too small. We pride ourselves on our ability to work closely with clients to provide a flexible, efficient, and high-quality personalised service. Our investment in state-of-the-art piling equipment has enabled us to stay at the forefront of and low vibration and silent piling techniques, as well as vibratory and conventional piling techniques, also taking into account Environmental aspects, particularly in built up areas.
Our Advanced Sheet Piling Machinery
We own and operate four WP150 silent and vibration-free pilers as well as the only JZ100 Zero Piler in Europe. All of which can operate with purpose-built water jetting units. All power packs are self-propelled giving additional versatility and independence from craneage and two of the power packs have CAT C7 engines in line with stage 4 and stage 5 NRMM requirements. Our machinery and methods provide efficiency and accuracy, and our ABI leader rig and excavator-mounted dangle drill are specifically designed for pre-augering the soil when dense granular strata are encountered. The leader rig, (54tne base unit), 25t & 35t Excavators are also capable of installing sheet piles.
The self-moving process enables the piler to walk along the top of the previously driven piles. Craneage is only needed to support the piler as it moves when insufficient reaction or bearing capacity is available. This is associated with short piles, weak soils or when the pile tops are high above ground level, a smaller crane, or one of our Movax plant, is all that is needed to lift a pile into the piler. Curved piling can be installed if required as well as a gradual change in the top level of the piles. A step up of 100mm and down of 50mm is possible per pile.
